🚨 White House suddenly calls for immediate evacuation of Afrikaners from South Africa. US is tripling the refugee cap to 17,500 and calling it an “emergency refugee situation”. Do they know something we don’t? Full breakdown in today’s video 👇 youtu.be/RjfWbIxtiWY?si=Xh9M…

🚨 US STATE DEPT CONFIRMS: Refugee cap for Afrikaners LIFTED from 7,500 to 17,500. Another 10,000 spots. 🚨 I posted about this on 8 May after early signals, and got hit with "stick to official sources" and accusations I'm lying or exaggerating. Well, here are the official sources the doubters asked for, straight from this week. The US State Department sent Congress an emergency notice around 19 May raising the FY2026 refugee ceiling. They cite "unforeseen developments" creating an "emergency refugee situation" in South Africa. Extra 10,000 slots basically reserved for Afrikaners and white South Africans facing escalating risks: farm attacks, Expropriation without compensation, racial policies, and more. Estimated cost: 100 million dollars. CBS, CNN, NYT, AP, Guardian, all reporting it now. Not some fringe claim. Trump admin is doubling down on the priority for persecuted Afrikaners under that EO. @willempet just dropped a fresh video on it 4 hours ago breaking it down. Link below. To those who called it fake or just politics: This is Washington putting action and money behind what many of us have been saying for years. SA's own denial and media blackout doesn't erase the reality on the ground. Afrikaners, if you're considering options, the door is opening wider. Document everything, stay safe, and know you're not alone. Many have already resettled successfully. Grab my FREE Resettlement Handbook for Afrikaners Moving to the USA (English and Afrikaans editions). 241 pages of practical intel on the full process, arrival, jobs, states, green cards, citizenship, and thriving as a Boer in America. Link in bio, pinned, or DM me. I also put together two more free handbooks to complete the set: the US Citizenship Preparation Guide for Afrikaners and the Documenting Persecution Handbook. All three work together with the official USCIS "Welcome to the United States: A Guide for New Immigrants" which pairs perfectly as the government companion. All are free and will save you months of headaches. South Africa could fix its issues and keep its people. Instead, policies and denial keep pushing talent away. Spread this. Truth doesn't care about denial. 🚨 MASSIVE WIN FOR AFRIKANERS – US Program Expansion Moving Forward 🚨 Breaking: The Trump administration is actively considering a major expansion of the refugee program specifically for Afrikaners. They are weighing a declaration of an “unforeseen emergency” in South Africa due to government-sponsored race-based discrimination. This would open the door for thousands more Afrikaners on top of the roughly 6,000 already admitted this fiscal year, who make up the vast majority of all US refugees accepted so far. White House officials have already started preparations for a formal welcome event with a new group of resettled Afrikaners on World Refugee Day in June. This represents real, concrete momentum and official recognition at the highest level of the serious challenges our people continue to face in South Africa. It is a significant step forward after years of advocacy highlighting farm attacks, discrimination, and unsafe conditions. Facts remain key: While this progress is positive, the process still involves bureaucracy, real costs, and the need for proper planning to ensure long-term success in the US. For practical preparation, download my free Resettlement Handbook and the SACCUSA Orientation Manual. DMs open for serious questions only. Let's turn this opportunity into successful resettlement for our community. 🇿🇦➡️🇺🇸 #AfrikanerResettlement

🚨Setting the Record Straight🚨 x.com/popped_blog/status/204… I would never have seen this thread if I had not started getting personal DMs attacking me because of it. In that post, @popped_blog went after South African refugee aspirants she called entitled for complaining about USRAP costs and logistics. When someone asked about JD Grey and a nasty note, she replied: "Ja it's Dan Grey, white dude who believes he's owed some level of entitlement and concessions " That's me, @DanGrey95 ,being named and attacked. For the record: I am not JD Grey. Never have been. I am Dan Grey, the guy who wrote and keeps the free Afrikaner Resettlement Handbook updated. For a long while I have given practical, unpaid help to our people on visas, agencies, timelines, real costs, and common pitfalls. All so Afrikaners can succeed in the US instead of struggling or becoming burdens on the system. Raising real concerns about bureaucracy and finances is not entitlement. It is common sense. A sustainable program helps genuine refugees. Turning practical advice into a personal attack, especially by naming me, is unfair and hurts the community we are trying to support. @popped_blog , you named me directly on your post. @ResistanceNewSA (JD Grey), I am tagging you: Why does your name keep getting mixed up with mine in these resettlement discussions? If you are not moonlighting as me, why have you not publicly clarified that we are two different people? This confusion needs to stop. I would rather focus on helping Afrikaners resettle successfully than deal with this drama but don't dare smear my name for your own clout. The Handbook stays free and updated. My DMs are open for those who need real support. Practical work beats online smears. #AfrikanerResettlement

🚨 SACCUSA OrientationManual launches 🚨 Been quiet for a while. Had some personal stuff to deal with (stay far away from corporate kids, trust me) and I’ve been heads-down on a new book. I’m stepping back from the heavy advocacy side for now and going more casual, just posting thoughts, stories, and whatever feels right. Life’s too short for the constant grind. That said, my Resettlement Handbook suite (the full Afrikaner-specific one with the persecution documentation guide and citizenship prep) will always stay 100% free for our people. No changes there, links still in bio. Also want to give a proper shout-out to @SACCUSAUSA for releasing their Orientation Manual. It’s a solid general guide for South Africans. Ours was built specifically for Afrikaners on the Trump EO/USRAP path, so they actually complement each other well. Grab theirs here: sachamberusa.com/wp-content/… Use both if you’re in the process. Appreciate everyone who’s been holding it down. Back in my own lane now. #AfrikanerResettlement

🚨 IRAN JUST TARGETED TURKEY – NATO STEPS IN, SHOOTS DOWN THE MISSILE! 🚨 Day 5-6 of the US-Israel vs Iran war, and now it's spilling over to a NATO member. Iran fired a ballistic missile straight toward Turkish airspace (crossing Iraq & Syria first), and NATO air defenses in the eastern Med intercepted and destroyed it before it hit Turkish soil. Fragments fell near Hatay on the Syria border, no casualties, but this is the first time a NATO ally has been directly targeted in this mess. ⚠️ The facts: ℹ️ Turkish Defense Ministry confirmed: Missile launched from Iran, detected heading into Turkish airspace → NATO assets neutralized it in time. ℹ️ NATO spokesperson Allison Hart: "We condemn Iran’s targeting of Türkiye. NATO stands firmly with all allies, including Türkiye, as Iran continues its indiscriminate attacks across the region." ℹ️ US SecDef Pete Hegseth: Incident unlikely to trigger Article 5 (collective defense "an attack on one is an attack on all"), but Turkey could invoke Article 4 for consultations if they see it as a serious threat. ℹ️ Erdogan/Turkey: Summoned Iran's ambassador, urging restraint and no escalation, Ankara's been trying to mediate but now on high alert. No appetite for full Turkish retaliation yet, but this risks pulling in the whole alliance. ℹ️ Broader war: US sub sank an Iranian warship, Israel pounding Tehran/Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran hitting Gulf bases, oil spiking, markets tanking, Strait of Hormuz tensions. This is how wars spiral: One missile toward a NATO border, defenses activate, suddenly 32 countries could get dragged in. Iran testing limits? Or desperate lash-out after losing Khamenei & top brass? Either way, NATO's now actively defending territory against Iranian fire-first direct involvement. Trump's "too late for talks" line looks prophetic. If this tips to Article 5 consultations, it's no longer just Middle East, it's global stakes. Pray for de-escalation, but prepare for worse. The mullahs are cornered; cornered animals bite hardest. 🚨 RSC AFRICA: GHOSTING SEPT/OCT INTERVIEWEES – MULTIPLE REPORTS DEMAND WE STAND UP 🚨 Multiple reports brought to my attention from Afrikaner/Boer applicants reveal a pattern: Sept/Oct 2025 USCIS interviewees left in limbo. Cases processed BEFORE the admin pause and gov shutdown, yet ZERO communication since. Some approvals out, but many stagnant, while Dec applicants board planes. This isn't right. As a born-free fighting for my people against race laws, farm terror, and exclusion, these reports compel me to speak out and stand up. We're not asking for favors, just clear answers on status, timelines, and why the silence from RSC Africa. Program's ramping: 4,500/month target, Pretoria village building, thousands already resettled. But forgetting the early pipeline? Unacceptable. Bureaucracy can't bury Boer hope. ⚠️ Public request: Provide feedback NOW. Update the forgotten. Communicate. We won't let this slide quietly, our people's future hangs on it. Answers, or the noise gets louder. @CWS_global @RSC_Africa @USCIS @USCISJoe @StateDept @DHSgov @SecRubio @realDonaldTrump @amerikaners2025 @Afriforum @elonmusk Tag if you're in the queue or know someone affected. 🚨 THE MIDDLE EAST IS ON FIRE – US & ISRAEL VS IRAN WAR DAY 4: REGIME CHANGE IN MOTION, WORLD ON EDGE 🚨 This isn't "tensions." This is **full-scale war**. Started Feb 28 with massive US-Israeli strikes on Iran, nuked their leadership, air defenses shredded, nuclear sites hit, Khamenei & top generals confirmed KIA. Trump dropped the hammer: "Too late for talks!" Iran wants to negotiate now? He says nah, air superiority locked, Navy annihilated, missile stocks burning. ⚠️ Latest battlefield reality (March 3, 2026): ℹ️ Israel pounding Tehran AND Beirut simultaneously, IRGC bases, Hezbollah weapons caches, ground push into southern Lebanon. ℹ️ Iran retaliating wild: Drones slamming US embassy in Riyadh, missiles on Gulf bases (Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE hit), Strait of Hormuz partially closed, oil prices exploding, global markets tanking. ℹ️ US closing embassies in Saudi/Kuwait, evacuating Americans from 14 countries. CENTCOM confirms 6 US troops KIA so far, more coming. ℹ️ Proxies lighting up: Iraqi militias, Hezbollah rockets into Israel, Yemen Houthis probably next. War spreading like wildfire, Lebanon ground ops, Gulf drone swarms, airspace shut. ℹ️ Trump objectives crystal: Destroy Iran's missiles, navy, nuke program forever. No boots on ground (yet?), but "harder hits coming" per Rubio. Born-frees in SA watching this? Same playbook as our slow war here, demonize, strike leadership, deny mercy. But Trump isn't playing games like the ANC. He saw the threat, acted. Elon probably cheering from the sidelines (truth bombs incoming?). The world ignored Iran's nuke sprint, proxy terror, internal massacres. Now it's paying: Civilian blood in Tehran, historic sites damaged, economies bleeding. UN crying "de-escalate" , too late when missiles fly both ways. Pray for clarity, for quick end if possible, but if this takes out the mullahs for good? Historic. Freedom for Iranians might actually happen. Tag if you're glued to this chaos. Share the truth, no media spin. @realDonaldTrump @elonmusk @SecRubio @netanyahu #IranWar #USvsIran #RegimeChange #MiddleEastOnFire 🇺🇸🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷

🚨 AFRIKANER RESETTLEMENT 2026 UPDATE: THE REAL STORY – NOT THE MEDIA COPIUM 🚨 Two thousand of our people have landed safely in the USA since the program kicked off in May 2025. Trump’s EO carved out the ONLY exception to the global freeze. FY2026 cap = historic low 7,500 refugees worldwide… and the vast majority are going to Afrikaners & other SA minorities facing race-based persecution. Processing target? 4,500 applications per month. Trails are going up at the Pretoria Embassy. Pace is accelerating again after the short Feb-Mar pause. Changes that matter right now: ℹ️ @amerikaners2025 CWS/RSC Africa are the ONLY official partners. Free intake form live: us-dos.unqorkgov.io/?#/displ… ℹ️ Flights resumed Nov 2025. More groups landing every week. ℹ️ Once you’re in: EAD work authorisation fast, tax refunds bigger under Trump’s new bill, green card after 1 year, citizenship in 5. ⚠️ The lies being spread: “Everyone is failing.” Wrong. NGO/blue-city placements? Absolute disaster for many → mouldy basements, high-crime motels, $2,000 one-time aid burned on rent in 2 weeks, food stamps delayed, families in Detroit motels walking through snow for meals. That’s real and it’s heartbreaking. But that’s the SYSTEM failing, not us. Self-relocators, skilled tradesmen, farmers who networked privately, families who chose red states and real jobs? They’re buying trucks, starting businesses, putting kids in decent schools, braai-ing on weekends and posting “best decision ever.” Same grit that built South Africa is winning in America. We are NOT victims waiting for handouts. We are Boers who refuse to die quietly. ℹ️ Grab the FREE Resettlement handbooks in pinned post. To every family still in SA watching the power go dark and the farm attacks tick up: The door is open. Don’t wait for the next murder statistic with your name on it. Tag someone who needs to see this. @amerikaners2025 @realDonaldTrump @elonmusk @SecRubio @AfriForum #AfrikanerResettlement #BoerInAmerica #MissionSouthAfrica #NoMoreGuilt #TrumpSavedUs 🇿🇦➡️🇺🇸 💪

Absolutely fantastic post, Alice Spot on analysis. If one group is supposedly so vastly superior, intellectually, culturally, economically, why the hell do they need 30 years of B-BBEE's mandatory racial quotas, forced equity transfers, exclusionary procurement rules, and now this absurd R100bn "Transformation Fund" just to "level the playing field"? Psychologically, this reeks of a massive inferiority complex: overcompensating with rigged systems to mask deep-seated fears of fair competition. It's not empowerment, it's institutionalized dependency, breeding resentment and perpetuating the very divisions it claims to heal. History shows that true superiority doesn't need crutches; it thrives on merit. Time to scrap this farce and build a SA where talent, not skin color, wins. #EndBBBEE #MeritocracyNow
HOW THE HELL do we dare demand that B-BBEE gets scrapped, and suddenly the entire Black South African comment section EXPLODES in hysterical meltdowns?! If we're supposedly such brain-dead, subhuman, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals who couldn't survive without handouts, then WHY wouldn't you jump at the chance to be chosen purely on MERIT? Please, go prove us all wrong. Show the world you're not the incompetent charity cases you keep acting like. Why the obsession with forcing your way into controlling shares of White-owned businesses? Why the desperate clawing for quotas that explicitly shut White South Africans out of jobs, promotions, and opportunities in our own country? You demand "equality" while engineering our exclusion, how shameless can you get? And don't even start with the land bull💩. Why the entitlement to free land when every White family had to pay, work their a$$es off, and build from nothing under hostile conditions? Pay your own way like we had to during apartheid and after, or shut up about "justice." THREE FULL DECADES, and you're still whimpering for racial crutches, still insulting every Black person alive by implying your race is too pathetic to compete without rigged rules and forced handouts. You're not empowering anyone, you're infantilizing your entire people, trapping them in an ongoing cycle of victimhood while a tiny connected elite gorges itself. Grow a spine. Compete. Earn it. Or admit once and for all that the whole "redress" narrative is just a mask for institutionalised theft and an inferiority complex. This shit has gone on long enough; it's disgusting, it's insulting, and it's destroying the country for everyone, even you.

🚨 THE "DUBUL' IBHUNU" DEBATE IS OVER – THIS ISN'T HERITAGE, IT'S A LOADED GUN IN 2026 SOUTH AFRICA 🚨 Julius Malema and the EFF are still packing stadiums, still leading full-throated chants of "Dubul' ibhunu, dubula dubula" at rallies, like the one on Jan 23, 2026, right before his firearm sentencing. They're planning to make it central to the 2026 election campaign, explicitly. Trump played the videos in the Oval Office in May 2025, calling it out as promotion of violence. And Elon Musk, born in Pretoria, who knows SA's scars firsthand, has repeatedly spotlighted this: reposting clips of the chant, calling out "chanting for genocide," highlighting over 100 anti-White laws now in place (more than apartheid's anti-Black ones), and slamming the hypocrisy of allowing public calls for White genocide with no punishment while discriminating against non-Blacks (even blocking Starlink over race). @elonmusk gets it, he's called farm attacks a long-standing crisis at scale, urged global awareness, and warned this is Apartheid version 2. As a South African success story who's stared down bigger threats, his voice cuts through the noise. White farmers and their families don't hear metaphor. They hear a credible, repeated threat: "kill the Boer, kill the farmer." And the violence doesn't stop. Official @SAPoliceService stats lowball it hard, 6 murders in farming communities Q4 2024/25 (Jan-Mar 2025), one farm-owner murder in some quarters after verifying AfriForum lists. Government insists robbery is the motive, victims include all races (more Black farm workers/dwellers recently), no racial targeting proven. They call independent claims distorted. But independent trackers tell a different, uglier story: ℹ️ AfriForum's 2023 report: 49 murders on farms. 2024 figures similar pattern, dozens of attacks, extreme brutality unchanged. 50 in 2025 per recent tallies. ℹ️ TAU SA / TLU averages: ~63 farm killings per year over the last decade (635 from 2014-2024). ℹ️ Brutality signature: torture for hours, mutilation, organ removal while alive, families held captive, messages in blood ("Boer scum"), elderly stabbed dozens of times. Not smash-and-grab theft. Rage. Execution theater. You scream "context!", it started in the anti-apartheid struggle. Valid against a racist regime? Maybe. But apartheid ended 30 years ago. Mandela's rainbow nation was supposed to heal, not keep singing kill-chants against one ethnic group. In 2026, it's not resistance, it's regression, weaponized for votes by keeping racial wounds open. And the hypocrisy is stomach-turning. Flip the script: Imagine Pieter Groenewald or a VF leader packing arenas today leading "Shoot the Zulu" or "Kill the Xhosa," calling it "heritage" from colonial wars. The outrage would be deafening, arrests demanded, international sanctions, UN reports, front-page global headlines. But "kill the Boer"? Crickets from the same crowd clutching pearls over "cultural context." Double standard so blatant it reeks. This chant dehumanizes by name. It's normalized in a country with 26,000 murders yearly. It gives psychological permission to the next criminal who decides to act. Legal protection doesn't equal moral innocence. It doesn't equal safety. It doesn't stop bodies turning up on farm roads. Elon gets it, he's been consistent: from reposting AfriForum docs on race laws and farm murders, to calling for repeal of racist laws, to warning the world about where this leads. If someone like @elonmusk , who's built empires and fights for truth, sees the danger in these chants and the broader anti-White discrimination, maybe it's time for the defenders to listen instead of deflect. South Africa faces a choice: ℹ️ Grow up. Retire this poison to history books. Demand leaders who build unity, not divide with ethnic kill-chants. Create real equality where no group lives under threat of genocidal rhetoric. ℹ️ Or keep gaslighting victims, pretending words don't matter, normalizing it until the next cross appears on a dirt road. See where that path ends and I can promise you it does not lead to anything good, for anyone. I'm not waiting for sanity from a system that shields the chanters but leaves targets exposed. The Resettlement Handbook is still in pinned post for anyone done hoping the excuses will stop. This isn't anger. It's clarity after years of watching the same loop. Words matter. Bodies prove it. Heritage doesn't get a free pass to endanger lives in the present. @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @SecRubio @amerikaners2025 @RiseAgainstEvil @popped_blog @ResistanceNewSA @SAHRC #DubulIbhunu #KillTheBoer #FarmMurders #SouthAfrica2026 #HateSpeech

🚨"DUBUL' IBHUNU" IS HATE SPEECH – NOT A "STRUGGLE SONG"🚨 South Africans, let's cut through the gaslighting once and for all. The EFF and their defenders keep calling "Dubul' ibhunu" ("Shoot/Kill the Boer/Kill the Farmer") a harmless "anti-apartheid struggle song" protected by "context" and court rulings. That's a dangerous lie. This isn't heritage, it's raw, ethnic hate speech born from racial hatred, still weaponized today to incite extremists in a country bleeding from farm attacks. Here's why it fails every honest test: ℹ️ Origins rooted in hate, not just resistance: It emerged in the 1980s MK/ANC struggle era, where "ibhunu" (Boer) stood for the apartheid system, yes, apartheid was brutal and evil. ⚠️ But the lyrics don't stop at symbolism: "Dubul' ibhunu, dubula dubula" – "Shoot the Boer, shoot shoot." That's not a metaphor for dismantling laws; it's a direct, violent call targeting a racial/ethnic group (white farmers/Afrikaners). Even if "Boer" meant "oppressor" back then, it dehumanizes an entire people. Struggle songs can rally without explicit calls to kill civilians. This one crosses into incitement territory from day one. Courts gave it a pass, but that doesn't make it innocent. ℹ️Equality Court (2022), SCA (2024), appeals dismissed into 2025: Ruled not hate speech when sung in political contexts, because a "reasonably informed" person sees it as symbolic anti-oppression rhetoric, not literal murder orders. Fine – legally protected under SA's broad free speech Constitution. But legal ≠ moral or safe. Courts aren't saying it's harmless; they're saying it doesn't meet the strict incitement threshold (imminent lawless action). That leaves massive room for real-world harm when extremists hear "kill the farmer" and take it literally. ℹ️Active in 2026 – fueling division and danger: Julius Malema and EFF crowds still chant it full-throated at rallies: Sharpeville Human Rights Day 2025, Khayelitsha EFF anniversary, planned as election centerpiece for 2026. In a nation with 16 farm murders already this year (official police stats), amid 26,000 total homicides, this isn't nostalgia, it's pouring petrol on racial fires. White farmers and families hear a major party leader and thousands screaming for their deaths. How does that not embolden radicals? We've seen the pattern: ignored threats turn into real attacks. This rhetoric normalizes violence against a minority group. False equivalences don't save it ℹ️Defenders trot out the old UK anthem verse ("Rebellious Scots to crush") from 1745, a temporary Jacobite-era addition, never official, ditched after Culloden, not sung in 280 years. Compare that to a living chant led by politicians NOW? Pathetic. One's buried history; the other's current political incitement. If it were "Kill the Xhosa" or "Shoot the Zulu" chanted today, the outrage would be deafening. Selective blindness proves the double standard. ⚠️ Bottom line: This song was born from hate toward an ethnic group, uses violent rhetoric that can't be sanitized as "metaphor" when extremists interpret it literally, and is still deployed to rile crowds in a tense, violent society. It's hate speech that endangers lives, deepens racial divides, and has no place in a democracy that claims to value equality.South Africa deserves leaders who unite, not divide with calls to "kill" based on race or heritage. Ban this poison. Hold the chanters accountable. Protect every citizen – black, white, farmer, or not. If you see through the "struggle song" excuse and want real equality without ethnic threats, share this. Tag those who need to hear it. Time to call it what it is. #DubulIbhunu #HateSpeech #KillTheBoer #FarmMurders #EndRacialDivision #SouthAfrica2026 #AfrikanerSafety @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump @ErnstRoets @afriforum @LexLibertasOnX @amerikaners2025 @CyrilRamaphosa @Julius_S_Malema @EFFSouthAfrica

🚨 Refugee Programme Update 🚨 5th day in the USA * It was way too cold with an icy wind to go exploring, BUT that gave me a chance to research some things online to get my ducks in a row for moving into my own spot. * Guys, you can't drink the water out of the taps here 🤷‍♀️ so you have to buy bottled water ($6 to $8 for a pack of 24) or you have to have a water dispenser and most companies deliver fortnightly (dispenser monthly rental about $12 to $15 and the water about $8 to $10 for 5 gallons) * For those of you who, like me, will make use of the fantastic public transport system here for the first couple of months (I'm too kak scared to drive, even being in the passenger side of a car here gives me anxiety) the city I'll be staying in has an 'unlimited rides' monthly option which is $50 a month. * GUYS! "Y'all" and "Howdy" is not just in the movies 🤣 * They write the date M/D/Y here, which has me retarded working stuff out on my hand like a toddler like "is this expiring this month or in August 2172" * And while we're on that subject, let's talk about gallons and pounds and quarts etc, which apply most times, but not always 🤣 it shall humble you. I downloaded a converter app, and we're in a very serious relationship now. * Had a loooong-ass convo with the most delightful ballie who fancies himself a history/geography buff and knew a surprisingly large amount about SA and its actual history, which was super cool and interesting. * Heard sirens again today, once. So that's what? Once every 3 or 4 days? 🤣 crazy * They don't put milk in their coffee here, they use 'creamer' and a popular one is 'Coffee Mate', which as best I can tell is like evaporated milk crossed with condensed milk and it comes in different flavours, I'm enjoying the vanilla one (my ass is gonna get so fat isn't it?) Key points for the day: 1. It was Martin Luther King Jr. day today (public holiday), so no movement on my process. 🚨Refugee Programme Update 🚨 4th day in the USA * This will be a short one because, you know, Sunday and what what. * Jet-lag is the devil. It comes in waves, so one minute I'm Superwoman, and the next, I'm an amoeba, but the amoebic states are definitely reducing in their frequency. * Can we just talk about the TV ads for prescription meds for a minute. It's every second ad! For ailments I've never heard of or ones that really shouldn't need medical intervention! Like what are 'bulging eyes' and why do you need a prescription for 'ringing ears'? And at least half of the ad is them listing the ghastly side effects, its like "here this will help your eczema but may cause liver failure, suicidal thoughts or death" 🤷‍♀️ * I went for a little stroll today within the immediate vicinity of my hotel and found tons of awesome spots to explore for you guys, but the weather turned miz, so my enthusiasm did too as a result, but I'll defo take some pics and report back on a sunnier day. * chatted to our amazing friend @andrea_spook today! If you're not following her, you really should. She and I will do some Spaces once things at home with her new baby have settled. That way, you guys can also ask questions. We'll keep you posted. Key points for the day: 1. No updates on my official process because it's weekend, and a Sunday, and I'm tired. 🚨Refugee Programme Update 🚨 3rd day in the USA * It seems I may have been obnoxiously overconfident about the jetlag. Yesterday, it kicked my ass but I was at least able to stay up until 9p.m. and woke up at 4a.m. this morning. Still miff. * I lost a fight with some Publix packaging while making a snack, dunno why it is so complicated - maybe it's the jetlag 🤣 so I eventually just cut the whole damn thing open. * Heard a siren from an emergency vehicle for the first time, odd because that was consistent background noise in Johannesburg (as well as a sprinkling of gunfire for percussion, too) * One of my followers asked about prices. I can confirm that a Burger King double cheeseburger meal with fries and a drink is $4.99, which is about R82 🤷‍♀️ cheaper than SA. I'll do some more price comparisons once I start buying my own groceries. I haven't put a dent in my pantry yet. * The Americans I've met so far have been so warm and kind and curious, so, so, curious 🤣 but in an excited, inquisitive way, not a creepy 'interrogating' way. Most of them didn't know much about South Africa until President Trump and Elon shone a light on what's happening there, so thank you, President Trump and Elon. * The Americans luuuuuurve our accent 🤣 apparently we sound 'very polite' and 'posh' I had one lady with a thick Southern accent tell me it sounded so posh that even if I was telling her off, she would be OK with it because I sound so posh. Key Points for the day: 1. There are no updates on my process because there aren't any over a weekend. 2. To prep for when I get my SSN, I updated my resume to 'Americanise' it on LinkedIn, and I started a profile on Indeed and ZipRecruiter. If any of my American friends have other recommended job resources, please share, I'd be very grateful. Want to hit the ground running on the job search as soon as I can. 🚨 Refugee Programme Update 🚨 FAQs - "How long did the process take?" It's different for every case, with many variables influencing timelines. My case can't be used as a metric because I was processed under the previous process and had my October flight cancelled because of the US government shutdown. The feedback I've received from people going through the current process is that it's anything from a week to 6 weeks between 'stages/steps', but that can vary per case, too. I also think Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays impacted, so it may not be a true reflection yet. The 'checks' like medical, security, etc. can happen at any time in the process and can't be used as an indication of the progression of your case. I've attached the process outline as it appears on the Embassy website. 🚨MASSIVE WIN FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE IN SOUTH AFRICA 🚨 Huge congratulations to L. Brent Bozell III on being sworn in as U.S. Ambassador-Designate to South Africa! This is exactly the strong, principled leadership we need in Pretoria right now. A fearless conservative who founded the Media Research Center and has spent decades exposing media bias and fighting for American values. Ambassador Bozell gets it: He'll stand up against the ANC's discriminatory race laws, push back on their dangerous alignment with China, Russia, and Iran, and shine a spotlight on the brutal reality facing Afrikaner farmers, thousands of targeted attacks that the regime keeps denying. No more weak diplomacy or billions in wasted aid. This is America First in action, protecting persecuted minorities and holding hostile governments accountable. Afrikaners: Your voices are finally being heard at the highest levels. The resettlement path to freedom in the USA is clearer than ever. Keep applying – we're building thriving communities here! Welcome to the fight, Ambassador @BrentBozell. You've got our full support. 🇺🇸 #BozellToSA #AmericaFirst #EndAntiWhiteLaws #AfrikanerResettlement #TrumpWins
