Words of encouragement from a terrific teacher!
The team @cb_stirling has worked INCREDIBLY hard in math all year. Although the work is not done, it has been pretty cool to see how much of a difference a team of invested educators can make!

I'm bothered when math is taught and assessed like this. Just memorize the procedure and regurgitate... Final mark on this section: 6.5/15. Final mark on the test: 50%. Big and bold on the page. Am I wrong to be really annoyed?

I just keep coming back to how important multiple visual representations are in math. If your lesson isn't including a visual, you're doing something wrong.
