You are speaking to a brick wall Champ. Reminds me of this saying: “None are so blind as those who will not see”. The truth will always remain invisible to those who don’t want to see it.

I’ll be honest, I was one of those who initially believed the narrative that these South African protests were purely Xenophobic. But after looking deeper into it, I became convinced that a lot of that narrative is false and heavily exaggerated. That said, a lot of people are desperately hoping these protests eventually become truly Xenophobic so they can finally say, “I told you so.” South Africans may have legitimate concerns about illegal immigration, but they must be careful not to let Xenophobic elements hijack their movement and turn it into something evil. If a person’s only crime is illegal entry, they should still be treated with dignity and humanity while being escorted out. However, if an illegal immigrant is also involved in crime and causing harm to their host country, then they should be dealt with accordingly.
As the Xhosa nation, we reject every attempt by politicians & parliamentarians to divide South Africans through tribalism There is no war between tribes The marches happening across the country represent the voice of ALL South Africans united for justice, safety&accountability

You are only a foreigner if you are white or Asian. Even the black American isn’t a foreigner.
Nigeria has always been one of the most hospitable countries to foreigners. Despite the high levels of tribalism and regionalism, you'd be surprised how naturally Afrocentric Nigerians are. Here, Black people are never seen as outsiders. The typical Nigerian perspective is simple: Black people shouldn’t be considered foreigners anywhere in Africa. Honestly, with the Afrophobia and xenophobia in many African countries now, it has made me realize how messed up the African continent is.

This has always been the plan. Xenophobia is inherent in the average South African. Many of them have been able to conquer it but many more are just suppressing the urge waiting for the opportunity to let it out. They have that opportunity now. So go and have a blast, make a k!lling, break a leg.
South Africans must take the law into their own hands, otherwise you will die at the hands of foreigners.

Despite the fact that there are Foreigners being humiliated in SA, here is a South African in a Nigerian setting accorded respect and decorum to speak.
Global motivational speaker. Patriot Vusi Thembekwayo 🇿🇦 Flying the South African flag high in Nigeria telling them we are not Xenophobic 🇳🇬 🔥✊🏽 This is why Vusi Thembekwayo is respected and appreciated. He represents the country with pride in every corner of the world he steps into.

Again on this South Africa vs the rest of Africa matter… What exactly do some South Africans mean by “go home and fix your country”? Nigeria still has over 200 million people living and grinding back home—what do you think they’re doing? Sitting idle? Those of us here will keep pushing for a better Nigeria. When things improve, our brothers and sisters facing hardship in SA will return willingly. Nobody wants to live where they’re treated like animals. But let’s be real—if South Africa is your best shot at survival right now, then do it right: legalize your stay and respect their laws. And this applies everywhere, not just SA. Don’t let anyone gaslight you into thinking your struggle isn’t valid.

We need to get 3 way round table discussion with Ghanaians and South Africans. Let’s understand where all this hate is coming from. I use to feel it was just banter but it seems like the hate is deeply rooted. It’s been there even before Xenophobia so we know that is not the cause, it only aggregates it.

This is the most sensible thing I’ve seen all day on this topic. No one is saying you guys shouldn’t remove illegal immigrants, we are saying do so the right way. What is currently being done can easily sway into a full blown xenophobic violence. The funny part is that the people who would carry out the attack may not even be part of the “March on March” guys.
we do have an issue of Xenophobia but at the same time we have an issue of illegal immigration which many dismiss, it's possible to acknowledge both.

On what’s going on in South Africa, the real tragedy isn’t just the xenophobia—it’s how easy it is to turn people against each other when survival gets tight. Willie Lynch ‘theory’ may be debated, but division as a tool is very real. While people fight themselves, the system stays untouched. No matter what ‘illegal’ migrants may have done, there’s a right way to handle it. What’s happening in South Africa is not it. #SayNoToXenophobia #AfricanUnity
