It’s becoming increasingly frustrating to watch how often j-hope is being sidelined during the BTS ARIRANG World Tour broadcasts and screen direction. This is not an isolated mistake anymore, it has happened repeatedly throughout multiple concerts. Back in Tampa Day 2 during Pied Piper, the camera almost completely missed j-hope during his own verse, showing him for barely a couple of seconds. Unfortunately, the same issue keeps happening. During today’s surprise performance of Ddaeng, the cameras once again failed to properly focus on j-hope during his part, constantly cutting to other members instead. Fans are paying attention, and it’s upsetting to continuously see one member receive noticeably less individual screen time during his own moments in songs. @BIGHIT_MUSIC, please make sure the production and camera directing teams properly study the members’ verses, formations, and line distributions before each show. Every member deserves equal visibility and fair coverage on screen, especially during their own parts. We love seeing all seven members together, but we also want to actually SEE j-hope when it’s his moment. Please do better moving forward in the upcoming concerts. No, it's not because he's scared of needles (nobody likes needles btw). Someone who gets IVs regularly and the occasional tattoo isn't going to be bothered by a piercing that lasts two seconds. That's ridiculous. Some of y'all are still arguing with a version of j-hope that exists only in your own shortsighted perception of him. Time and again, he's challenged the stereotypes people projected onto him, from excelling in the military to embracing tattoos, revealing concepts, and other choices that don't fit the box you've put him in. The truth is, you don't pay attention to him and it shows. I can't say with certainty why he doesn't do permanent piercings, but if I were to guess it's because 1. He doesn't want to risk scarring his face and/or 2. He doesn't want to commit to just one esthetic. These reasons are more in line with who he is. Sorry for the rant, but I just get so irritated by these outdated stereotypes. Like please evolve with them.
