Giving Up, Giving In or Carrying On.
Have you ever thought about that?
Been there, done that, don't have the shirt, but the scars (and expecting to collect a few more).
We have probably all been at junctions in our lifes, where we felt that it's just too much and we don't want to go on.
But what is the alternative? You can run, but it will always catch up with you again.
The thing is not external, but internal.
Yes, external circumstances, people, problems, relationships are what drags you down the most, but what you allow those to do to you, if completely on you.
And if I were to venture a wild guess, you are already beating yourself up for getting in "this" situation (again).
It is not the situation or the circumstance though that is at fault. It is also not necessarily your failure to even allow yourself to get into the situation (although that is something you should address).
The most important thing, is how you deal with it and how you let it affect you. Take a lesson from Epictetus:
"Men are disturbed, not by things, but by the principles and notions which they form concerning things."
