🇦🇲🗳️Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan believes Prosperous Armenia will receive parliamentary mandates after the vote recount. He said this could significantly change the political situation, as the party’s failure to enter parliament is unclear to him. Sargsyan also claimed that serious violations took place both during the election campaign and on election day. He argued that if similar violations had happened in 2017, European observers would have immediately recorded them as widespread. However, he said he does not expect observers to make such a statement now, because they had already shown full solidarity with the authorities during the campaign and are now constrained. Sargsyan added that the Republican Party has always been ready for street struggle and is ready to support forces that received the people’s mandate.
