While undoubtedly the right move, an interesting line to take in by-election week when HS2 is so toxic politically
Andy Burnham: I’ll resurrect HS2 from Birmingham to Manchester trib.al/75pxqXU

I guess it doesn't really matter to those people Vance's intervention was designed to stir up. Their (slightly twisted) logic is that horrendous crimes committed by people who have a right to be here is one thing, but its worse if they don't have that right
It's not just the exploitation of a tragedy. JD Vance's picture of Britain - where migrants have led to a crime surge - is the opposite of the truth. comment.press/vance12
There's a new version of this post

Pompey winner really takes the edge off. But we can only do what we can do. Well in #oufc

Apart from that Cumming error, we looked untroubled - Blackburn could have played until midnight and not scored. Bit worried our subs might cost us one day, but other than that, this is brilliant stuff #oufc

YEESSSSSSSS. Spencer, Mills, Cam, Lankshear, Brown, Helik all amazing. In fact they were all brilliant #oufc

This is an.... interesting take
I usually go to the polling station with my partner. My adult children came too when they lived at home. Was that "family voting" or absolutely fine because we're White skinned and not Muslims?
Community note
"Family voting" means multiple people entering the polling booth together, breaching the secret ballot and potentially coercing votes. Going to a polling station with family is legal. Observers reported booth-group voting in Gorton and Denton, not lawful group arrival. bbc.com/news/articles/…

On the way back from the match. We were outplayed and outfought by a very average @stokecity side. Can't understand what Vaulks adds; part of the reason he is picked is for his long throws which are pointless. Emakhu could be great if he believed in himself. Great support 👏#oufc

So many fans saying sacking GR was wrong. Two things can be correct at the same time - sacking GR was correct and Bloomfield was the wrong appointment. The huge delay between sacking and appointment suggested we didn't get out first choice #oufc

Lets face it, Bloomfield was a League One appointment and the vast majority of our players are League One standard (at best). #oufc

Everything about Sparky's goal yesterday is perfect - the block, the hunger by both BDK and MPH to get to the ball first, the precision of BDK's pass and the calm and class of the finish. Bloody brilliant #oufc
