From my personal perspective, I believe using TikTok is acceptable, especially since it has been reinstated on the U.S. App Store and Google platform. While discussions about its security concerns continue, this decision indicates that the authorities don't see these issues as posing an immediate threat to regular users. After all, many applications and platforms today face data privacy and security challenges, and TikTok is not the only one requiring attention.
As a social platform, TikTok offers me a space to showcase creativity and engage in entertainment. Through it, I can learn about global cultures, trends, and ideas, while also sharing my creative work with friends. This kind of cross-cultural exchange allows me to experience the convenience and joy that technology brings, especially as it has sparked my interest in short video production.
Of course, security concerns need to be taken seriously. As a user, I stay alert and take appropriate privacy protection measures, but that doesn't mean I should give up the enjoyment and value that the platform provides. Overall, I believe as long as we maintain reasonable security awareness, TikTok remains a tool worth using.
