#growthmindset I don’t understand why it is that an “honors” student is exempt from this practice. Educators are more willing to let a Non-Honors student reassess but somehow the actual “honors” student isn’t? Thoughts @Ron_Martiello

As the year ends and I begin thinking and planning for a new. I only wish this was a mindset more people had. #growthmindset seems to be a topic that many people like to talk about but few are willing to embrace and put it into practice.

#teaching #edchat As a once Art Ed turned Math T, I think my biggest struggle is having a mind that wants to thinks outside the box and encouraged to do so in one sentence, then only to her the word Dale Carnegie said to never use, BUT...and then you are tossed back in the box.

This idea that there are no 2nd chances in life is an Ed myth created to try to get Ss to take is serious the 1st time. I just don’t agree. I’d rather hear the more honest opinion that we are time strapped and when there is no time in the day to make or grade 2nd Test. #edchat
