We must look at ways to improve outcomes of the silent majority of patients - older women with higher rates of social deprivation and ethnicity factors preventing early diagnosis. Thank you @redtrouserday for supporting this research. @ckontovo @DrSarahCMills

I think patients are vulnerable at all stages but agree that once back at work the (often erroneous )assumption is made that you are "OK". BMJ would welcome an Opinion piece on this.
Replying to @tessajlrichards
@tessajlrichards Moved by the way you advocate for cancer patients, seeing the importance of this with greater clarity due to recent diagnosis. It seems to me that patients are most vulnerable after treatment and return to work. Has there been a piece around this subject?

Very lucky to be trained by and be supervised (PhD) by @DrSarahCMills she’s an amazing role model, trainer colleague and friend. She always has time for you as a trainee despite being busy with many other commitments. Can’t think of anyone more deserving of this nomination!
