Remember that time you REMOVED the off-the-plan stamp duty concession in 2017 Tim? Yes, also you. Don’t expect us to thank you now.

The Allan Labor Government has just passed the More Homes Bill – immediately slashing stamp duty on eligible off-the-plan apartments, units and townhouses. This tax concession will deliver more homes sooner and make it more affordable to buy for young people and families.

It’s great having ambitious government backbenchers adjudicate PAEC points of order while their Premier is giving evidence. Not at all farcical. A thoroughly robust system. #springst

State Government says construction costs have risen 22% since 2021. In 2021 SRL business case estimated cost of SRL East at $30-34.5bn. Yet @timpallas is sticking to that estimate in 2024 when on his own numbers, 22% would make SRL East now $42.1 bn!! #springst #paec

It does grind my gears when the Member for Melbourne claims to know more about the MDBP than those who live within it and have lived through buy backs before!!! Member for Melbourne should perhaps remember where she comes from - MILDURA ! I’ll say it again “WITHOUT FARMERS YOU’D BE NAKED, HUNGRY & SOBER!!!” #springst #nobuybacks #grindsmygears
