A traditional field system (left) packed full of hedgerows and wildlife. Compare them to the field next door (right) which is a virtual desert for wildlife. This shows the effect of losing 6,000 km of hedgerow in Ireland EVERY year!
Like a flying Latte, this huge juvenile Glaucous Gull from the Arctic landed into my village, Crosshaven. Very tame as they’re not familiar with humans. A cute brute!
