To be clear, it could've been a yellow, could've been a red. Denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity is VERY subjective.
But that's EXACTLY why VAR should not have intervened at all there.
It's really hard to escape the idea that Arsenal are reffed differently.

So VAR can actually overturn a yellow card to red card when the on field decision has already been given. Good to know. I look forward to never seeing that applied in any other games this season.
