To all the people mad about what happened at momocon with CrossWorlds, IT'S AN EPIC GAMES ISSUE. They use the same servers as Fortnite and Fortnite has a tournament running. All games running on those servers are having problems as Epic prioritizes bandwidth for Fortnite.

TLDR: Epic Games is who you should be directing your anger at. They are the ones that decided to prioritize bandwidth for Fortnite over a service companies pay them to use.

And for those unaware, yes, lobbies, matchmaking, and netcode are handled by EOS. That's why Sonic Team chose to use UE5. Here's the interview from March where they said as such.

Already found an error in the patch notes. Item box placement in Sky Road wasn't adjusted... it was the Northstar Islands.
How they mistook they two is honestly up to anyone's guess, but it's 100% the Northstar Islands and NOT Sky Road. It's a very obvious change too.t

They adjusted the number of item boxes in the area where you get launched up, with it basically covering the two hallways so now you can't miss getting an item when launched up. That's it, that's the adjustment.

I find it funny how no one realized they meant that a mistake like this helps prove it's not AI.
Like you click on a drawing to check if it's ai, see this, and then go "nope, a human cooked here".

The people saying the acquisition was because of Angry Birds haven't been paying attention. Rovio was working in some form on SEGA's mobile projects, like Sonic Rumble, so they were acquired for their talent/experience in the mobile space, not Angry Birds.

Angry Birds was a bonus, hence the greenlight of the third film. Regardless, Rovio did not have a major release set up post acquisition, so a loss was to be expected. Any projects started by SEGA weren't going to be done by the end of FY 2026, let alone Q3.

I'm willing to give the guy one benefit of the doubt, and that being that it was the post production team that added the ai generated scene in. They still would've lied about the final "model" used though, as they probably supplied a proof of concept to them, hence the YT comment

This is horrendous & needs to stop.
Them using generative AI is inexcusable & everyone’s outrage is completely justified.
Only thing I’ll add on is that I don’t think this should completely nullify the actual REAL work put into this, but still this needs to be gone.

Nintendo is actually saying Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2 doubled in value in 2 years. They were both available digitally on Wii U for $20 slightly over 2 years ago. Actual insanity.

I love Galaxy 1 and 2, but they are not at all worth $40 each in 2025. These are 15-17 year old games. These should've just been $20 each like on the Wii U eshop and $40/$50 for both.

Like seriously, how do you go from paying $100 -> $80 -> $40 for both and then back up to $70/$80? It makes no sense, even with inflation/tariffs, as the digital versions are more expensive than they were 2 years ago.
