Ben James is the solo leader in Canada. This is his first PGA Tour event since earning his card via the PGA Tour University program last week. 🤯

🚨‼️ PolyUS is SCAMMING and refusing to acknowledge a glitch on some of their World Cup markets @Polymarket PolyUS twice flipped a nuke position that I bought and then settled each as a loss. I bought “Czechia to not win the first half by over 1.5 goals” as shown in the first image. However, my position was altered upon refresh to the position shown in the last image, which is the opposite of what I bought. Pretty concerning that this type of error is possible on a @CFTC regulated exchange, others who traded on this market also experienced the same issue. Customer support told myself and others that “there is no error and no refund will be given” Screenshot #1 - the position I bought (before an additional order filled for 100 more shares) Screenshot #2 - shows that I’m not taking crazy pills, the wording showed as a nuke despite the incorrect flag Screenshot #3 - what my position ultimately flipped to, which is not what I bought I lost several thousand dollars on the first glitch, which I which I didn’t have good screenshots for. I sized down for my second go here to bring to support to show there was a bug, but I got brushed off. In both cases, the flag was incorrect on my initial buy, but the wording of the play showed it as a nuke, which is how this should have resolved. I’ve also confirmed that I’m not the only one who got shafted by this glitch. Frustrating stuff 🧵

Here are at least two other individuals who I talked with who also encountered this same technical issue, but were also being brushed aside by support

Update: Successful resolution was reached here
PolyUS Update: A speedy and successful resolution was reached with the PolyUS team to make things right here. Talked with a great team member who acknowledged the growing pains they’re experiencing. As of now, it appears the tech issue is patched so that’s a good sign

In the past, I know some of you said you don’t want “play by play” of any personal issues, but I think when the issue affects multiple users as was the case here, it’s important to provide such an update to restore confidence about a newer platform.

oh boy, Polymarket needs to get their stuff together. Unacceptable for a CFTC regulated exchange.

Pretty wild given that I assume SIG was one of the MM’s offering the best Spurs price on the market all second half which arb’d widely available Knicks lines elsewhere, but given the flow and long Knicks prices, it’s not too surprising they took a record loss there last night

Susquehanna International Group’s prediction market desk took its biggest sports loss making markets during the Knicks’ Game 4 NBA Finals comeback Wednesday, while Kalshi reported a record day for volume. Susquehanna’s losses, a source familiar with the situation says, were almost entirely on the game-winner market.

It has been a week since the regulation requiring MA sportsbooks to notify limited bettors went into place. Two books have failed to even try to comply: Bally Bet and Caesars Sportsbook have not sent out any emails to limited customers in MA
So far, the legal sportsbook operators in MA do not seem to be meeting @MassGamingComm 's transparency goal set just over three months ago. Will be curious to see how the commission reacts to today's developments. Still waiting to receive an email from Fanduel & Bally as of now

Fascinating to see how big the prediction market space has grown. A European team placed a multimillion dollar bet against itself to hedge the massive financial impact of relegation. Crazy to hear a team bet 7 figures against itself, but it’s smart insurance
A Spanish La Liga club (likely Osasuna) facing potential relegation placed a bet against itself on Kalshi, hedging the financial hit of dropping down a tier. They survived on the final day. Susquehanna was on the other side of that bet and pocketed over $1M.
