28B emails. 41% open rates. $19M paid subs. What the report skipped: at that scale, 5-15% bounce = billions of emails to typos, role accounts, dead MX. Half are recoverable. Built DataBridge to fix that. databridge.so

Got an email list to clean? Reply with the file. I'll do it free, one time.
Most "risky" emails on your list aren't risky. They're typos. Someone wrote gmial instead of gmail. Outloook instead of outlook. Yhoo instead of yahoo. Most cleaners delete them. We recover them. databridge.so/try — 100 free no signup, or 1,000/mo with a free account. databridge.so

woke up and DataBridge is now live on Product Hunt 🚀 I've been working alone on this for the last 8 months on nights and weekends. Proving to myself that everything is possible if you have an intention and focus on what you really want. Appreciate any feedback and comment producthunt.com/products/dat…

launching DataBridge on Product Hunt in 4 hours and honestly kinda freaking out🔥. spent the last 8 months building an email cleaner that actually explains why rows fail instead of hiding everything behind a black box. free tier, no credit card. would love any feedback> producthunt.com/products/dat…

Hi, I’m Damian, Founder of DataBridge, sharing with you a funny story I lived this week that maybe you share same feelings than me when you started. I decided to launch my email list cleaner on Hacker News this Thursday, so I decided to create a new Post adding headline URL thinking that I’d be able to add a comment later. Turns out I couldn't find that section anywhere.. In my anxiety, I decided to remove the post and try again (thinking inside that I did something wrong lol). In the third attempt, please don’t ask what happened in the second one haha, HN flagged my post and my comment lost in the queue without visibility. I sent email to HN support but no answer yet. Sharing this real and funny story for whoever is learning the best way to launch what they built. What about you? Anyone here been in a similar spot, or something you want to add?

Saving this. The bounce-rate data would be the perfect addendum — Beehiiv probably has the cleanest dataset in the industry to publish it next year 👀

Wrote up the full story — why I built it, the stack, what I learned about CSV parsing in the wild — on Indie Hackers: indiehackers.com/post/launch…

Most email validators run 3 checks. DataBridge runs 8: syntax · live MX · role · disposable · typo (gmial→gmail) · TLD · suppression · history Drop a CSV → 99% deliverable in ~2 minutes. databridge.so/?ref=twitter
12
Your CSV has unclosed quotes? Most cleaners stop and ask you to fix it manually. DataBridge repairs first, validates after: • quotes patched • commas-in-quotes preserved • encoding auto-detected • row mismatches per-row fixed You only see "unfixable" when it really is.
15
If you'd rather hit an endpoint than click upload: curl -X POST databridge.so/api/v1/clean \ -H "Authorization: Bearer db_live_..." \ -F "file=@list.csv" Returns JSON with the audit per row. Webhook on `dataset.cleaned` for async. Same 8 validators. Same quota.

Sender reputation = % of your mail that lands in inbox. Every dead address chips it down. Gmail's thresholds: • ≥0.5% bounce → yellow flag • ≥2% bounce → red flag, mail goes to spam Clean before you send. Or spend 3 months rebuilding. databridge.so/?ref=twitter

I tried 6 email cleaning tools before building DataBridge. They were: (a) running 2 checks and calling it validation (b) charging $99/mo for an API (c) shipping a 2014 UI So: 8 checks. $29/mo Pro. Modern UI. Free 1k rows/mo. No card. databridge.so/?ref=twitter
