Has #Ofsted made any official response to these devastating findings? How could it give these terrifying abusive culture an “Outstanding” report Sir Martin Oliver? @tombennett71@bphillipsonMP is there no regard for child safeguarding at Ofsted?
Progress 8 has always favoured London by design.
DfE’s own analysis shows that only 21 schools that have the most disadvantaged, white British cohorts returned a positive progress 8 score.
You can’t punish schools for simply serving different communities.
You can’t build a successful education system around shame, embarrassment, detention & exclusion. You can’t create inclusion for all via a curriculum that only works for some. So as the saying goes “If the child doesn’t learn the way you teach, start teaching the way they learn.”

Think piece on Sir Martyn Oliver's statements this week to MPs.
The latest ofsted model will simply perpetuate, or possibly worsen, what is already happening. It is a dead parrot simple as that. The selection by compliance schs will continue to be rewarded. The inclusive ones will live in fear of the next insp. People will be damaged again

An expert in the field just told me, 'Of the 190,000 informed today of grade 3 in English Language, about 37,000 should have been awarded grade 4, and a handful, grade 5.
Those 37,000 were not awarded Grade 4 because Ofqual failed to deliver a reliable grade.'
