🤔 What do we do?
We support and connect people, projects and ideas around the use of appropriate data or insight as the direct response to natural and meaningful questions. We centre everything on social purpose and a core aim: what does this mean we can (all) do next?
A new project hopes to map, define and name the hundreds of distinct neighbourhoods across Sheffield for the first time.
Its designers say it could be the start of a radical devolution of power from the Town Hall to street level. But how?

A most excellent summary of our NHS-funded work with @CitizenForward in #Sheffield to start and build a conversation around neighbourhoods in the city. Thanks, @nowthenmag! 🙂
Thank you to @Maptionnaire and @felt too for making the mapping tools that underpinned this 🙌

It was great to be part of this work with @NPCthinks, building on previous versions of their Local Needs Databank. We learned A LOT in the process, as we always do 🙂 @Tom_c_watson has been sharing his thoughts, and we'd love to hear what you think too...
Our newly redesigned beta version of the Local Needs Databank is for anyone in the #charity sector who wants to know more about the #local areas in which they work and is looking to explore this with #data.
