The word ἀπολύω which translated to put away is the same word used in (Matthew 1:19) where Joseph was about to break the betrothal.(2/3)

Matthew 19:9 is not the escape from marriage people believe it is.
There is two words which he could have used. Pornia is any kind of sexual immorality including immorality outside of a marriage [Hint: betrothal].(1/3)

My name is Richard and I'm a Christian with Anger. And I'm done hiding it. I have religious trauma from sunday school teachers telling me to hide my anger, but it's who I am.
Bursting out in rage is part of my identity and even if some "clobber passages" say uncontrolled anger is "sinful" that was probably just influenced by bigoted cultural contexts.
I know that if the Bible is really all about love, it means I can be as angry as I want to whomever I want.
