Finally made a pilgrimage to the world famous Rogin’s Tavern in Moriguchi City, known for its collection of bourbon whiskey stretching back to the pre-prohibition years. The oldest bottle they had was this bottle of Green River from 1910 which went for ¥30,000 ($200USD) a shot.

I went for a half shot of Old Taylor from the 1970’s for $25 bucks a half shot. Liquid fire 🔥 All the bourbons are on the second floor. Three beautifully decorated floors and an amazing coin operated juke box with retro hits and super friendly staff that spoke English.
