IWC Cage Fury at the Ballpark Quick Results:
1. Austin Blayze, accompanied by Betty Frenzy, kicked off the evening by defeating Canaan Kristopher, Gorgeous Gregory, and Anthony Young in a fast paced Fatal Four Way Match.
2. Andrew Palace continues to prove why he’s the heart and soul of IWC with a clean victory over Max Bet Maxwell. Maxwell showed plenty of fight, but Palace was just too much and picked up the win in convincing fashion.
3. Marcus DeAngelo & Ox defeated Shelby Wylder & Clay Campbell in tag team action. The newly formed team of Wylder and Campbell showed promise throughout the contest, but DeAngelo ultimately secured the victory after a questionable assist from Ox.
4. Dani Mo became the NEW IWC Women’s champion by defeating Ava Brooks in a highly competitive contest. Brooks did everything she could to hold onto the title, but Dani was just one step ahead and left with championship gold.
5. Bill Collier defeated Vince Valor in a hard-fought match. Valor had several moments where it appeared he might pull off the upset, but Collier ultimately showed why he remains one of the most dangerous competitors in IWC.
6. Bubba the Bulldog & Bulk Nasty retained the IWC Tag Team Championships against Point Break in a STEEL CAGE. The challengers came within inches of an upset, but a costly mistake allowed Bubba to pin Johnny Mahalo for the victory. After the match, “The Presidents” launched a surprise attack. In a shocking act of self-preservation, Mahalo sacrificed his own partner, Karter Taylor, abandoning him to the assault while making his escape. We still have no idea what these men want!!
7. Spencer Slade retained the IWC Super Indy Championship by defeating Zach Nystrom and Felix Koz in triple threat action inside the STEEL CAGE. Late in the contest, it appeared Nystrom had the championship won, but Slade resorted to uncharacteristic tactics, striking Nystrom with the title belt before capitalizing to steal the victory. Following the match, a frustrated Nystrom challenged Slade to a one-on-one contest in June.
8. In the main event STEEL CAGE match, Duke Davis defeated Elijah Dean and took back his rightful property…the IWC Heavyweight Championship Belt. Despite interference and additional obstacles created by Oliver Gray, Davis overcame the odds to secure the victory and close out a beautiful evening at EQT Park.
