🚨 MAKE A FREE SIMULATOR! 🚨
Re-tweet this to support a FREE ENTRY online client!
Pretty hot topic for a growing game and to be very honest, Vanguard Dear Days 2 WILL FAIL!
Why will it fail?
- All TCG simulators (such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, MTG Arena, and Pokémon TCG Live) are FREE TO PLAY and micro-transactions are an option in the game to progress.
- Vanguard Dear Days 2 is the only simulator that is gated by a price tag.
- This game will get little to no new players into the game because no new player is going to pay to try the game as well as pay for the actual physical cards to play.
- Dear Days 1 before the release of Dear Days 2 is getting negative reviews indicating a need for change.
Why can't Bushiroad structure Vanguard Dear Days 2 like Vanguard Zero?
- Free to download and play.
- Allow for micro-transactions to buy packs, cards, and gems in the game to progress.
- Massive opportunity for community ran events and content creation.
- Bushiroad have other mobile games that are FREE ENTRY with the option for micro-transactions.
What benefits does a FREE ENTRY simulator give?
- A huge gateway for new players to TRY the game, learn the basics, and to invest their time into the IP without the need to pay.
- By introducing new players into the game, the retention of those new players will grow the game.
- FREE MARKETING for Bushiroad as content creators and players will be making videos, streams, shorts, and media to spread awareness of the Cardfight!! Vanguard IP.
- Infinite money generator as new sets come out, big spenders WILL spend on getting all the cards from the new set along with content creators to make content.
- Allows for the community to build in regions that do not have a way to have a brick-and-mortar store to play the game.
- Enables an income stream for promotional in-game customizations like sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, player outfits, to be available at premiere events such as Regionals, EXPOs, Daivangasai, and Worlds for players to buy, load onto their account, and commemorate (via a code).
- A Battle Pass system will keep players engaged in the game and those who want to advance faster will pay money to get extra rewards.
- A rank ladder system will also keep players engaged to rank for in-game rewards, enabling further retention of players invested in the game.
- In the long run, there could also be a potential for a competitive circuit online which may reward players with invitation to Worlds and other rewards outside of the game.
- Allow for competitive players to also play your simulator to test for Regional and premier events.
A lot of players who play in the current era of Vanguard that aren't veteran players got into Vanguard through Vanguard Zero due to the pandemic. If those players played through COVID, what is to say that even more players can get into the game now with how active social media is with advertising content about games on every platform. Not to mention, the game itself can also be advertised on infographics in brick-and-mortar stores.
Vanguard Zero being a free entry point into Cardfight!! Vanguard was one of the most powerful tools Bushiroad released which contributed to the growing numbers of Cardfight!! Vanguard. If Bushiroad can release a free-to-play (with micro-transactions) game that keeps up with the set release and the formats that are available for the game, I foresee Cardfight!! Vanguard blowing up in exponential numbers.
The benefits listed are probably not the only benefits that are apparent with releasing a free entry online simulator. I hope that
@BushiroadGlobal @cfvanguard_PR @bushi_PR @kidanit @shunichi_taira can see the feedback from the community. I wish they can take some constructive criticism from someone who absolutely loves this game and wants to see it grow.
From one of your Day 1 Cardfight!! Vanguard loving players,
Derick Dao
