Tell me your political party, and I’ll tell you whether the government oversteps its authority more or less than you think it does.

I want this to happen for several reasons but mainly because I wanna hear a taxpayer funded lobbyist argue that a district CFO is really more like a football coach.
School leaders are public employees; they should be limited to making no more than the governor. Maybe we should run a bill for that next year.

Big win for Arizona small businesses! HB2693 has been signed in to law, expanding health coverage options through bona fide associations. More choices, better affordability, and real relief for employers across the state. A huge shot out to everyone who worked together to make this happen!

My first thought upon reading the headline was “this must be spin or an outright lie, there’s no way she actually said she supports legal prostitution for trans people” but that quote is crystal clear. Wild.
Arizona Dem running for Congress backed legal prostitution to help for trans people trib.al/hgfxkbq

Big “if you’re a McCain Republican, get the hell out” vibes.
New Mexico Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham says Democrats don't need men's votes: “If women, Democratic women, just show up and vote, we’re good. We don’t need any of the men.”

Time to greatly expand our nuclear power portfolio.
Nuclear power capacity from 1980 to 2025. • 🇺🇸 USA dominates from the start and stays #1 the entire race (~97–101 GW), but nearly flat since 1990 • 🇫🇷 France rockets from 13 GW in 1980 to 63 GW by 1990, the fastest nuclear buildout in history, then flatlines • 🇩🇪 Germany peaks at ~22 GW then steadily dismantles, hitting zero in April 2023, a dramatic collapse • 🇯🇵 Japan climbs to 47 GW, then crashes near zero after Fukushima (2011), with slow partial recovery • 🇨🇳 China is invisible until 1994, then accelerates relentlessly, 57 reactors commissioned since 1991, closing in on France by 2025

Rep. Biggs gets it. I testified on roughly a dozen SMR bills this year and afterwards when I was out educating the community the #1 thing I heard was “why waste time on a bill that’ll get vetoed?” which made a great segue into why elections matter and what people can do to help
Yes. SMR’s need to be a priority in Arizona’s future energy plans.

Odd that the poll is all about public education but education isn’t an option in the “most important issues” section.

Close! You forgot Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, JB Pritzker, James Clyburn, Jasmine Crockett and Al Gore. Non-Hitler nazi references: Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsome, Pete Buttigieg, Ilhan Omar, Andrew Cuomo, AOC, Justin Trudeau
The only major figure in American politics right now who compared Trump to Hitler is JD Vance…

Why is it every time someone disagrees with anything I say about Arizona politics, their account is always based on a different continent?

There’s nothing quite like when someone asks you to “prove it” and you do and instead of refuting you, they block you. Inject it straight into my veins.

You’re just trading one convenience fee (folks make your food for you) for another (folks bring your food to you). Tap into your inner hunter/gatherer ancestral DNA, go to the grocery store, buy some food, go home, cook it, and eat it. Better price, better tasting, better for you

It’s literally so much more expensive to make a sandwich yourself and there’s so much food waste.
Community note
These ingredients can make multiple sandwiches over several days. A standard loaf of bread makes about 10 sandwiches and 1 lb of deli meat makes about 8. Preparing meals at home is generally cheaper than $20 fast food lunches. meowmeix.com/is-fastfood-ch… asyouarenutrition.com/blog/stretchin…

SITUATION DETECTED: Minnesota has become the first state to ban prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi. The new law, signed by Gov. Tim Walz, makes it a felony to create, operate, manage, or advertise a prediction market in the state.

In case if you were wondering if every reply was some variant of “keep fast food out of your mouth”, the answer is yes.

Vegans are probably salivating at Nithya Raman’s backyard BBQ ban. Or, y’know, whatever the equivalent is when your food isn’t good.
