Why hello world! Appreciate everyone checking in. I’m a-ok, just a little bloody and bruised but you’ll get that in big time auto racin’ 🤷🏻♂️ I got hit by somebody as soon as the punch connected. My view:
🏁 It was always gonna be 'Lil Gator, right?
@J_Allgaier wins his first career race at @PoconoRaceway and his fifth this season, already tying a career-high for single season wins.
The points leader extends his commanding lead.
Crews, Byron, Mayer and Creed the top 5. #NASCAR
A big milestone for @JClements51 today:
He ties @Kenny_Wallace for the most starts in @NASCAROReillyAP Series HISTORY with 547. He’ll break the record next weekend at @NASCARSanDiego.
A cool touch on the scheme to celebrate it too 😂
📍 @dennyhamlin wins the pole for tomorrow's race at @PoconoRaceway, his second straight pole and third straight race starting first (has come from the rear for the last 2 wins).
He's going for Pocono win No. 8 and win No. 3 in a row of 2026 for @JoeGibbsRacing. #NASCAR
Fractured wrist and all, @CBellRacing is ready to give it a go this weekend in Pocono.
Said “it’s certainly gonna be hard” the next few weeks and he’s playing it day by day in terms of pain tolerance for upcoming road course races in San Diego and Sonoma.
More from C-Bell on the wreck and aftermath:
- Said his phone has been "on fire" all week and appreciates everyone checking on him
- Plans to race all 400 miles Sunday; JGR has @BrandonJonesRac on standby
- His earpiece popped out on impact, knew his wrist was broken immediately
Bell says he experienced 63G's in his hit at Michigan, which was the hardest in the Gen 7 era of #NASCAR.
Said he's also essentially "driving the car one handed" and points to shifting and a couple specific corners in San Diego and Sonoma as question marks right now.
Great move with impending weather coming and everybody needing to get moving out west to SD. Also awesome that Prime is flexible and able to move 2 hours!
NEWS 🚨
@CBellRacing suffered a fractured left wrist after an accident on lap 148 of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. After being evaluated and released from the infield care center, Bell returned home to North Carolina where X-rays confirmed the fracture.
