Had a chance to work with Kyle on a commercial for NASCAR & Fox Sports, very down to earth, super nice guy. Sad to see someone this young go too soon. RIP.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

Not sure if this will get Bass the 2 democrat run-off that she had hoped for. The path for Pratt to win is slim, but will Raman’s supporters just swing their votes to Bass if Raman is knocked out?
After the fires, Nithya Raman literally voted against my proposal to hire 227 more firefighters and slow-walked permit fee relief for 10 months. I have been the one in the community — streamlining permitting, cutting red tape, and holding insurance companies and banks accountable. Now over 500 homes are under construction and another 1,200 permits have been issued.

The City of Los Angeles homelessness budget was $967.9 million in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The city permanently housed 7,396 homeless people that year — $130,868 per person. That's 59% more than the median household income in LA ($82,263).

The Democratic Party needs to do better. This is sad. Bass praised Raman right up until two weeks ago when Raman became a serious contender. Neither of them are serious at their jobs. Look at their track records while in office. The Dems Party needs to get back to the center.
The SOHA mayoral debate between Mayor Karen Bass and CM Nithya Raman got real contentious from the start. Here's a clip of Raman responding to Bass going after her for also being in charge of what's been happening in the city as a member of the council.

CA governance has missed the mark with film tax credits since the late ‘80’s. Nothing to do with consolidation. Different problem. If you and the CA Gov and anyone that preceded you had addressed this in the past 40 years, we may have been in a better situation. Your lack of understanding of this is disqualifying for your office.
We are in a global battle for entertainment jobs, and we must hold nothing back in our fight. This is about an industry that is essential to our middle class and who we are as a city. I cannot support a deal that results in massive job losses. I urge federal regulators to enforce job protections and creative freedom during the approval process, and I call on Paramount’s leadership to redouble its commitment to the industry workers in our city.

I mean he isn’t wrong. As a life long Centrist Democrat, I don’t see how I can vote for the two women who are Democratic Socialists. Democratic Socialism clearly isn’t working in CA. Bass & Raman have had their chances to boost our industry & voted not to while in office.
They have both been in office for YEARS, never did a thing. Then, suddenly, 4 days before our Mayoral debate…NOW they’re doing what I’ve been calling for the whole time? They really think you’re stupid.

Reality TV production in Los Angeles has seen the steepest decline of any category since 2022, plunging 52% in the past year. TV drama and comedy posted modest gains in the first quarter of 2026 on the back of increased state subsidies, a benefit reality TV didn’t share since it doesn’t receive state incentives. variety.com/2026/film/news/l…

This is the kind of data I’d like to see more of when we discuss why tax credits & tax incentives are valuable & they work in our economy.
"The Pitt" star Noah Wyle says filming that hit TV show in the L.A. area was a boon to the state's economy: the estimated total financial impact of making the first season here was a roughly $125 million contribution to California's GDP, he says.

During Covid it was often reported that Newsom was housing the homeless in hotels that were connected to his campaign donors. No one was paying attention given the state of the world.
Actor David Spade raising awareness that a bill was introduced in California to audit where the $20 billion dollars in missing homeless money went, it passed but then Gavin Newsom VETOED the bill to block the investigation Yes, this really happened. He blocked bills for an audit MULTIPLE TIMES Bipartisan bill AB 2903 (unanimous passed 72-0 in the Assembly, 40-0 in the Senate) would’ve forced annual public reports on where the money went Newsom vetoed it. Gavin Newsom also vetoed similar bills AB 2570 and AB 2093 “The same broader problem with people paying taxes in California — The homeless, they lose $20 billion, but they want more money for it. That's why people get tired of paying taxes and going, what are you doing? Gavin Newsom just vetoed a bill asking for an audit of where the money for homeless goes. He said, not a chance. You're not gonna see that. That's the problem.”

Big steps forward in LA with its rebuild from the fires. Caruso is right, the problem is too big just for govt to handle it, it has to be a public-private partnership & what his team is doing is working. This helps all of LA, not just the direct victims of the fires.
We’re not waiting for the red tape to clear. We’re clearing it ourselves. By partnering with two innovative companies, we’ve cut permitting times from months to just hours—at no cost to homeowners, city, or the state. This is a game-changer. Faster approvals mean families back in their homes sooner. Because every day of delay is another day of hardship.

Nothing like finding the perfect house only to resize Redfin somehow sent you 2 hours east of where you were searching & you got tricked into thinking it was right where you were looking for houses. Anyone wanna trade their 2020 interest rate for my 2023 rate? 😂

California has already lost its way, now we’re just dealing with insanity when it comes to these ideas from leaders in local Government. Headline should be “Mayor wants to make Lancaster an even worse place to live by giving away free drugs, more news at 11”

A little #bts from my latest commercial. @Blackmagic_News Ursa Mini 12k Cine LF. Shooting 8K 224fps (framing 16:9 within its 2.40 crop) to get super slow mo. Mixing in the camera with our A cam of the @ARRIChannel Alexa 35. So far so good, feels like a really nice match
