John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost, Arena and Lonely Robot) has joined the David Cross Band. John is a powerful singer and stunning guitarist and it was a real pleasure to rehearse for the first time today.

Jonathan Casey will depart the David Cross Band after our concerts in the Czech Republic next week. We need a singer/guitarist to replace him.

X marks the spot! This was the day after my cataract operation on Tuesday-my left pupil is still dilated. Brilliant NHS - consultation within a week and the op was 2 weeks later! Absolutely painless 10minute procedure and I was out of the hospital less than an hour after arrival.

My mother was born April 5th 1922 and died, aged 93, in 2015. She would have loved to get to 100 years old. Here we both are in earlier times...

I’ve always enjoyed these painted panels at a nearby Dim Sum restaurant and I've seen similar images before. I googled 'Chinese Art' today and found the original painting immediately (‘Along the River During the Qingming Festival’ by Zhang Zeduan). Ignorance is not bliss...
