While JD Vance says negotiations ended WW2, that's not how Hitler & Tojo exited. And Mussolini left the war hung upside down from the roof of a gas station, not at a bargaining table. nationalww2museum.org/death-…

If we're in for Rocky retrospectives, remember there was a Philly heavyweight who worked in a slaughterhouse, overcame arm & eye injuries, & fought a flashy champ. The real Rocky: Joe Frazier wsj.com/opinion/rocky-and-th… via @WSJopinion

He taught a course Harvard students called "Guilt 101." They adored him anyway. @RickKahlenberg, a former student, remembers Robert Coles, the child psychiatrist who challenged liberalism from within. washingtonmonthly.com/2026/0…

Please please please. My fellow Dems. @meta announced a scab program with substandard anti-union ABC. Please don’t highlight or applaud this bullshit. These jobs should go to trained union apprentices and journey people, not this.
Glad to see @Meta investing in America’s workforce. The strongest economic future is one that combines innovation with opportunity, supporting skilled workers, apprenticeships, and union labor that help build our nation’s infrastructure and prosperity. @CaliforniaLabor @AFLCIO

Making voting harder hurts shift workers, people working long hours and anyone who can't afford to spend hours waiting in line. We should be making it easier, not harder, for eligible voters to participate in our democracy. apnews.com/article/trump-mai…

Ro Khanna has accomplished more than any other Democrat under the second Trump term.
Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie were the lead authors and sponsors of the bipartisan Iran War Powers Resolution in the House. 💙

"The Center" isn't the midpoint between Beltway Republicans and Beltway Democrats. The Center is where most people are.
.@RepThomasMassie & I achieved the two most consequential victories of Trump's 2nd term. The Epstein Transparency Act exposed the cover up for sexual abuse. Our Iran WPR, introduced months ago, led to passage last night. Bipartisanship for the people, not the establishment.

Some members of Congress are attempting to overturn DC law. This is about public safety and transparency, trying to cover up violent crime by masked federal agents in DC against unarmed people. This is possible because of DC’s lack of Home Rule, that is what we must work to change. I’m going to keep fighting this now, and will continue this fight as your Delegate on Capitol Hill. #JoinRobertWhite

Replying to @charlesallen
@charlesallen got it right and yes @Janeese4DC is a class act and the desperation of the kitchen sink strategy is how McDuffie wants to be remembered doesn't suit him just sad really
I see a woman who’s gracious to a departing colleague on his last day as he resigns from office, looks to find common ground, and shows value in public service. Interesting choice to turn that around and use it as fodder for a campaign ad. That choice says more than she did.
