A linen shirt as outerwear. When it’s really hot and humid a linen button up over a T-shirt or tank top is a good way to layer and still keep (somewhat) cool.

Today I’m wearing a jacket, which is part of a suit I had made in 2015. This was a big deal and very expensive for me. Bespoke purchases can be financially daunting, but with time can also be a bargain and incredibly rewarding at the same time. Here’s to another decade.

A lot of attention is paid to craft traditions in Western Europe and North America, such as handsewn Hermes leather goods and bespoke Savile Row suits. But the uneven focus leads some to believe that things made outside of these places are low quality.
