It’s disturbing that bands like @Disturbed rely on backing tracks live.
I bought a concert ticket, not a seat to watch a laptop press play.
Live music should be alive—messy, loud, human, and in the moment.
Otherwise, just release a screensaver and call it a tour.
I was there at the beginning with Line 6: first amp, first modeling guitar, JTV, and nearly every amp I own.
But since Yamaha bought them, innovation feels gone.
Amps gone. Variax gone. Helix Stadium doesn’t support Variax.
For me, the Line 6 era ended Jan. 23, 2014.
@Line6
Another great product ruined by enshittification.
Sora 2 removed features, broke workflows, and added limits — even for paying users.
I spent 2 years mastering Sora.
Now it feels like starting over.

Calling all Alien Ant Farm fans!

Riddle me this, @OpenAI:
How exactly is this prompt “depicting violence”?
“Create a realistic look inside a human brain, but make it mostly cobwebs.”
It’s not gore. It’s not harm. It’s a metaphor for waking up with brain fog.
Come on. Even my cobweb brain understands that.
What if the cure for pain erased the person who survived it?
My new near-future thriller, Reboot: A Neural Reset Thriller, is now available for pre-order for only $0.99.
AI. Trauma. Medical ethics. One procedure that could change everything.

Took the GitHub Copilot Agent for a real-world spin on Spargine unit tests.
Some results were impressive.
Some were baffling.
Some were a complete mess.
Here’s what worked, what broke, and what still needs serious improvement.

Today, @ChatGPTapp apparently forgot how to create a PNG with a transparent background.
Not “slightly transparent.”
Not “white background pretending to be transparent.”
Actually transparent.
Technology is amazing… until it isn’t.
Beyond frustrating.😠
Lighthouses always reminded my mother of hope, strength, and finding your way home.
I created a new collection of lighthouse photos and AI-inspired images in her memory. I hope they shine a little light for you, too.

I finally saw King’s X live—and had the privilege of photographing them at The Rock Box in San Antonio.
No tracks. No tricks. Just monster tone, killer musicianship, and a crowd that knew every word.

I watched the first episode of Star City last night and I’m done.
It takes place in Russia. The characters are Russian. Yet somehow nobody speaks Russian or even attempts a Russian accent.
Apparently, Apple TV cast the Soviet space program from a London pub.
Swing and a miss.
Saturday night, I had the privilege of photographing the legendary King’s X at The Rock Box in San Antonio.
What an unforgettable night of music, energy, and pure rock ’n’ roll.
Article and photos coming soon.
Stay tuned. 🎸
