Doctors / BMA literally tone-deaf when it comes to "fair pay"
Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) earn not much more than min. wage
HCAs (band 2) / Β£24.5k (flat rate)
Nurses (band 5) / Β£31k-> Β£38k (after 4yrs)
Doctors - Β£39k-> Β£74k (after 5yrs)

All HCA roles and others working in frontline care roles should have been pushed into Band 3 after Band 1 was removed
With all staff previously on Band 1 now on Band 2
HCAs are still expected to carry far more responsibility for the same pay
NHS cannot run without HCA support
