I bought a valid MARTA ticket today. But when I went to enter the station, the gates were gaping wide open. No scan, no security, no barrier.
I walked straight to the tracks, rode the train for free, and walked out without a single person stopping me.
In fact, a passenger and MARTA Staff said its a regular thing.

Some people on January 6 simply walked around Capitol grounds. Those should be pardoned & compensated.
Some, like Zach, helped organize and create the breach. Now they are pardoned, wine & dined, and now will be compensated from a $1.8 BILLION fund paid for by US taxpayers.

How about female passengers reporting attempted rape? Rape? Sexual harassment?
People should be able to ride on public transportation without fearing for their life. Especially women.
You can continue laughing at me for wanting police presence across MARTA stations - but I’m just echoing the sentiment of the majority.
I hear if you fill out MARTA’s online form they’ll send someone out to hold your hand while you pee if you’re scared of that too
