Jodha Akbar was released in 2008.
My friends were all eager to go watch it. They included me without asking, as we used to watch movies together.
But Janma sanskaar is something we hardly talk about. It was before any protests had erupted, that I refused watch it.
They said it was "A Hrithik movie..!!" and I had replied, "I will never tolerate a Muslim ruler taking away a Hindu daughter as wife"
Few years later, they created a TV serial Jodha Akbar and one of my relatives whom I visited, were watching it and said, "It's such a fabulous serial"
I gave a lecture of 5 minutes to which they said, "But our Jodha gives tough fight to Akbar"
I said I'll never watch no matter how they glorify which character, that my blood boils at the thought of it and that we should have movies showing Jauhar rather than this filth.
Fast Forward to present week -
2 days ago, YouTube suggested one shorts of this film and I disliked it, so that they would stop suggesting it. But leftists are bhxdwas of highest order, they keep pushing different scenes of such movies to get you engaged and so, they showed this to me today. I of course have disliked it again.
In 2008, no one even thought on these lines of not watching a movie due to religious reasons, there was no
#BoycottBollywood campaign either. But as I said, Janma sanskaar play a big role.
When I was conceived, my Dadaji made my mother read Bhagvad Gita daily. Compulsorily. This tweet is not about me, it's about my family, who have made me this way, right from the time when I was still a little life in the womb..!!
Please nurture your daughters and sons in satvik manner, so that no amount of brainwashing can make them take wrong decisions.
