Apple Music is introducing AI transparency tags for new releases, according to an email sent to partners.
If AI was used to create a "material portion" of a release, one or more of the following tags will be required:
▫️ Artwork: AI was used to generate a material portion of the artwork for an album. This applies to both static and motion graphic artwork.
▫️ Track: AI was used to generate a material portion of a sound recording. This tag is available at the track level only.
▫️ Composition: AI was used to generate a material portion of any music composition embodied in a track. Use this tag when AI generated a material portion of the lyrics, or other components of a composition.
▫️ Music Video: AI was used to generate a material portion of the visual elements. This applies to music videos bundled with albums and standalone videos.

there are times when I sit and do nothing creatively. It’s dull and boring, but I feel it’s part of the process of creating with intent.
I get criticized by some of my peers over it, but I don’t like to force musical ideas. I don’t like chasing a number over a vibe.
