I imagine it’ll be more of a spin-off with different characters using a “One-Wish-Willow”, not a true sequel.
They could make an anthology franchise out of this and it could absolutely work.

X-MEN ’97 Season 2 clears the insanely high bar set by Season 1.
The first 4 episodes take a massive narrative swing by scattering the team across time, but the show never loses sight of what makes the X-Men special: melodrama, social commentary, sharp dialogue, and rich character work.
Bigger in scope, gorgeous in action, and still emotionally focused.
Marvel Animation (and X-Men fans) have another winner.
