The DWCC will be at the @CanadaTelecoms Summit tomorrow. The Acting Chair and the Past Chair are coming. The @DeafWirelessCAN appreciates the generosity and support the conference hosts have to invite groups that advocate for DDBHH Canadians with waived registrations.

Because I'm blind, an airline is saying I have to sit alone. We booked side-by-side seats. But when they found out I'm blind, they separated us. They're claiming it's their policy 1/7 #RightsOnFlights

I inquired about a party package at a local theatre. I learned that they only have 3 CaptiView devices. 3? This means if I want to bring some deaf friends, they’ll have to share the devices together or go without. This is why we need open captions so no one will be left out.

Today is #MotherLanguageDay! EVERY deaf child around the world should be given the opportunity to have their community signed language as one of their first languages. Many people are surprised deaf communities have to fight for this right. @BDA_Deaf @deafaustralia @WFDeaf_org
