Parents and athletes
How do you expect your high school coaches to help you with recruiting when:
โข When you donโt show up to morning workouts
โข When youโre late to morning workouts
โข When youโre late to class
โข When you donโt do your classwork
โข When you cut reps or go half speed
โข When you skip lifts or conditioning
โข When you miss practice or show up unprepared
โข When you have effort issues in drills
โข When you have discipline issues in the building
College coaches donโt just ask about talent.
They ask about discipline, accountability, effort, and reliability.
If you canโt be trusted to show up on time, work hard, and handle your responsibilities in HS, itโs hard for a coach to stand on the table for you at the next level.
Recruiting starts with habits. Your actions every day matter more than highlights.
