Our Year 10 HAP pupils were hard at work this morning working on their university style dissertation presentations - we can’t wait to watch them present on their chosen topics in the summer term!

What a brilliant morning at @StJohnRigby for our Year 10 pupils who absolutely loved visiting, touring and taking part in the activities. We also got the train from Ince to Gathurst to show how accessible the college is.

Year 9 and 10 pupils have been involved in a new project run by Wigan Museum. They were interviewed and filmed and are now part of a brand new exhibition within the museum called ‘Wigan’s Voice’. It has been a great opportunity for them to share their views on Wigan

Thank you to St John Rigby College for coming in to present to our Year 10s about their options after DTRB - it’s great to see our pupils have so many different pathways they can follow when they leave us.

Iceland Update - For lunch today we've come to Iceland’s largest tomato greenhouse and we're sampling the tomato soup for lunch.

We are looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 parents and carers on Thursday for Year 11 Parents Evening.

Our pupils have arrived safely in Iceland and the first stop from the airport is to see how the American and Eurasian techtonic plates are connected. North America on the left and Europe on the right.
