n honor of DHM staff being over at the West Peace Park on Friday for the Dearborn Summer Market, heres a Spring 1955 shot showing the Peace Park area. On the left is the old freight railroad station while on the right is the road now known as West Village Drive.

This Warren Avenue shot was taken 45 years ago this month in June 1981. Looking west from near Horger it shows a city tree planting program in progress. In the background is the old Peoples Outfitting Company building which was still a Hudsons Warehouse Store at the time.

90 years ago this past weekend, the Ford Rotunda opened in Dearborn for the 1st time. It was located near the southwest corner of Rotunda and Schaefer. This image of the building which served as a Ford visitor center was taken in June 1938.
