I've been quiet for a minute. It's time for an update. I did serious soul-searching and priorities restructuring with the fam after a *very* dark year; I decided it was in my best interest to leave a prestigious doctoral program and pursue a different career path. 1/n
Flexing my hours has come in handy since I've been sick for most of 2023 (4 weeks so far) and my supervisors have been super gracious about it. I haven't had to burn PTO so far! 10/n
I guess it's time to wrap up this novella.
TL;DR Leaving my doctoral program was the exact thing I needed, and the universe delivered the job I didn't know I needed. 11/11
