Näiden korkojen ja pelkkien lainojen palvelukulujen maksamiseen menee useilla globaalin etelän mailla aivan kohtuuttomasti rahaa, eikä rahaa voi käyttää ilmastotoimiin kun suuri osa BKT:stä menee lainojen maksamiseen.
