We added a new (beta) widget to Decap CMS - good news for users experiencing random crashes in our WYSIWYG editor.
The Richtext Widget is a drop-in replacement for the Markdown Widget, which is still available, but new features will be on the Richtext.

We are SSG-agnostic, but when we had to choose a replacement for GatsbyJS for our docs site, we chose @GoHugoIO. It's fast, reliable, regularly maintained, and much more. One day, we will be like that 🤞😎

Put together a site using @Decap_CMS and @eleven_ty to replace an aging Java-based CMS. Build times went from minutes to under a minute, including search index and deployment. Not a 1-to-1 feature match, but meets all the current needs. Also got rid of the Postgres db.

During the transition period, we will be active on both services, and Slack will remain open until it dies off. This decision was based on the fact that when we took over, the most requested feature on Slack was to migrate to Discord.
