Draw for Round 3 of the All-Ireland Championship
Dublin v Donegal
Kerry v Armagh
Mayo v Meath
Monaghan v Westmeath
A cheery reminder that 3 of these games will be behind a paywall on GAA #GAA
The GAA championship isn’t broken.
It’s being badly presented. 📺
A better product is already there —
but poor promotion, limited access, and scattered coverage are holding it back.
That’s a fixable problem.
Which makes it even more frustrating 🤯

Just the best players from across the globe and a brilliant concept grounded in the joy of street football….and Elvis.
Nike - The Cage from 2002
For what it’s worth, IF it’s not all about greed then why not put it free-to-air on GAA ?
✍️ Viewers just have to set up a GAA account
🖥️ It familiarises people with the offering
📊 Gives the GAA loads of new data & emails to market too
✅ Soft touch and lures people in

Surely for the amount of vitriol this would create towards the GAA and GAA this could never been on the table for being behind a paywall - absolute madness 🤯
The biggest games should always be free to air and GAA should be a vehicle to cater for the other games.
This felt inevitable. RTÉ and GAA are looking at an impasse over who gets first pick in the All-Ireland SFC series. Both broadcasters want Kerry-Donegal. Putting it behind the paywall would be a deeply unpopular move.

The Chappell Roan security altercation with Jorginho’s wife who happens to be from Ireland into Irish soccer fans adopting Pink Pony Club as their World Cup qualifying anthem is a story arc that will be hard bet! ☘️ 🇮🇪
It’s crazy that politicians believe they are approaching Irish sport from a position of strength.
Sport in this country has thrived despite them, not because of them and will continue long after they are gone.
