There’s 120k people who think it’s a good point to “hmm but maybe sometimes it’s right to oppress people? 🤔”
The internet does an incredible job of making people feel confident in saying things that would get you laughed out of a first year history tutorial.
The axiomatic error undermining much of Western Civilization is “weak makes right”.
If someone accepts, explicitly or implicitly, that the oppressed are always the good guys, then the natural conclusion is that the strong are the bad guys.

Also the entire premise is flawed. Might makes right isn’t bad to the left because of all power is inherently bad. Socialists want to sieze power. It’s a counter to the lie that we live in a rules based order. Israel, USA, Russia have broken every international law…

… they are all too powerful to be held accountable. So whatever they do is “right” because of their “might”. The powerful do what they want, then tell you they played by the rules or that the rules didn’t matter anyway. I wish the people had the power to change that.
