The paper for my biggest #OceanAcidification experiment is out! frontiersin.org/articles/10.…
It examines how fluctuating OA-like conditions affect an important predator defense of spiny lobsters--their exoskeleton. I started this in 2016, so it’s very special it's finally published.

I’m very excited to finally share the results of a passion project that has been on my mind for nearly a decade. You can find the pre-print below, but what follows is the saga of how this project came to be:

It's our ocean acidification community's 6th Annual Day of Action. I'm grateful to work with a suite of forward-looking, caring, hard-working researchers & practitioners around the globe, & I'm looking forward to another jam-packed year of working together to address this issue!
The current pH level of the ocean is 8.1. Hence today, on 8 January, we hold our 6th #OADayofAction. Our global network remain committed as ever to fighting #OceanAcidification and finding solutions to this crisis. ocean-acidification.org/
As per PMC projections, we are now unequivocally in the 2nd largest #surge of the U.S. #pandemic with 4% (1 in 25 people) actively infectious as of Dec 30.
