If there’s one thing we’ve learned from history, as well as countless stories, from Aladdin to Game of Thrones, it’s this: You can’t force people to love you. You can force them to pay attention to you, sure, to submit to you, but that’s not the same thing as love.

@elonmusk has a lonely road ahead of him. If there’s anything I’ve learned over the years, it’s that when I’m truly not wanted, the best thing to do is to leave quietly without making a show of it, and to refocus my energy. It’s the best thing for everyone all around.

On a serious note, no part of me believes you can escape the reach of someone who has billions of dollars to revenge purchase a social media platform.
I’m not concerned about Twitter. The scary part is, and always has been, not knowing where that petty vindictiveness will end.

Said it before and will again: if you claim to be a “proper” Doctor Who fan but abuse, insult and gatekeep, then you have missed the point of the show entirely. You are the villain, and the Doctor would take you down. Always welcome new fans, they deserve to have fun.

So tired and saddened by this consistent trend of young, female/non-binary Doctor Who fans who are terrified to talk about their favourite show (online at events) because they will receive abuse/negativity. So many of us constantly censor ourselves because we’ve had years of it💔
