I'm old enough to remember being repeatedly told that millions of our most vulnerable desperately needed a Labour government and I was a privileged middle class Trot for not leaping on board this tremendous remedy train.

Begging for some self reflection from the most destructive and vicious faction in Labour history. They have torn apart the Labour Party, pushed out hundreds of thousands of members and overseen a political project which has completely abandoned Labour values. Sit this one out.
The Wes Streeting coup. Imagine watching Labour's support collapse in urban England to the Greens... and concluding Wes Streeting is the answer. And although Labour lost far fewer of its voters to Reform, imagine thinking Wes Streeting would win them back, either. Amazing!

Labour MP Jonathan Hinder: "The blunt reality is, and every single Labour MP will tell you this, he has never been an electoral asset" Which begs the question, how did he end up as Labour leader & PM? But I don't suppose the msm will ask it, because the answer isn't kind to them

This country might be about to have its 6th Prime Minister in 7 years. Why? Because they’ve all failed to take on a rigged economic system that enriches the few at the expense of us all. People want a society where children don’t go hungry. That is really not too much to ask.

Do you reckon Starmer's sister ever goes "Hey, so could you stop bringing up how skint I am and how our disabled brother died in penury?"

Lewisham is another almost unbelievable result. Labour has held EVERY councillor seat since 2018: 54 out of 54. In 2014, they held 53 out of 54, with a sole Green. Today the Greens took control, winning 40 councillors. Labour has held Lewisham for 55 YEARS. No more.

This case is awful and should be called out. But Reed a key part of the project that led to Stephen Kapos, a child survivor of the Holocaust, resigning from the Labour Party... because they were instructing him which group he couldn't talk to... on Holocaust Memorial Day.
A holocaust denier is now an elected councillor. Reform should never have put someone who holds these abhorrent views forward for public office and should now take immediate disciplinary action. Anti-semitism is racism and has no place in our politics.

Is Harman deeply respected across the labour movement, on what evidence? It was her decision as interim Labour leader in 2015 to whip abstention on Tory benefit cuts that finally caused the “labour movement” to reject decades of leadership by Labour Right, a political earthquake
Brown and Harman (rightly) deeply respected across Labour movement. Strategy clear-use grandees to cement PM in place. But risks clear too. If this is extent of reset it hardly reeks of change/adverts to Starmer’s lack of authority. Can’t do full reshuffle so stuck with this.

Woah it’s really good Labour spent their time smearing a Green candidate, whose experience being exploited by the drug trade led her to founding a charity that helps those in her position!

5 yrs ago I was the youngest elected rep on any National Labour Party body as Young Labour's under-18 officer. I was harassed, and faced disciplinary action twice for stressing youth disillusionment with Labour. Labour just got demolished in my hometown. Poetic justice. 💚
