It was a wonderful day back on @GloucesterFM radio. To mark the 16 days of activism to end gender based violence my poems were based around the role of women, perceptions, domestic violence and cyber bullying. It was an opportunity to share spoken word & promote women’s worth.

We did it! Massive thanks to all who donated, supported & shared our journey. The beautiful “SheSpoke” women joined me .. & my husband… on our walk from Cheltenham to Gloucester Cathedral. With over £1000 raised we can build another water bore hole in a remote village in Africa

Once again I stumbled my way around the course for the annual Race for Life. It was incredibly hot. Always emotional reading messages to loved ones lost to cancer but also uplifting to be amongst amazing people. Thanks to all who supported with donations & kindness #RaceforLife

A busy but brilliant day recognising Refugee Week in Gloucester where our SheSpoke poetry group read poems on belonging. Also a wonderful celebration for Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees celebrating its 10th anniversary. Proud to be amongst such creative, kindly, supportive people.

Shocked to hear of the dreadful plane crash and loss of so many lives. Deepest condolences to the family and friends of Akeel Nanabawa and Hannaa Vorajee were on a surprise trip to India with their daughter Sara. A precious family from Gloucester known and loved by many. RIP
