These threats are a clear attempt to undermine our democratic system and intimidate New Jerseyans from going to the polls to exercise their right to vote. I’m grateful for law enforcement’s swift response to these threats and for making sure that every voter can safely and securely make their voice heard this Election Day. We will not stand for voter suppression in our state — and I encourage all New Jerseyans to not be deterred as they cast their ballots today.

This is the narcissistic/dishonest playbook in action. Everyone can see the tricks now. Real leadership would offer solutions, not scapegoats. 1. Government Shutdown ≠ “Healthcare for Immigrants” Shutdowns happen when Congress fails to pass a spending bill (appropriations). Right now, it’s about partisan fights over the budget, not some emergency vote on immigrant healthcare. 👉 Blaming Democrats for “loving illegal aliens” is deflection. It avoids responsibility for Congress’s inability to govern. 2. Immigrant Healthcare Spending Is Tiny Undocumented immigrants are barred from Medicaid and ACA subsidies under federal law. The only federal requirement is emergency care (EMTALA) — hospitals must stabilize anyone, citizen or not. States like California or New York have small programs covering undocumented residents, but those are state-funded, not federal. 👉 So the claim that “illegals are driving up federal healthcare spending” is false. 3. Who Actually Benefits More From Federal Spending? The bulk of healthcare spending (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, CHIP) goes to U.S. citizens. In fact: Seniors (mostly citizens) consume the largest share of healthcare costs. Immigrants, especially undocumented ones, tend to be younger and healthier, and studies show they use fewer health services per capita than citizens. 4. The Narcissistic Playbook in Use Projection → blame Democrats for “hurting citizens,” while shutdowns (led by GOP internal fights) actually harm citizens (unpaid federal workers, delayed services, stalled benefits). Deflection → pivot to immigrants to avoid admitting dysfunction in Congress. Strawman → twist “healthcare access” into “Democrats love illegals more than citizens.” Appeal to emotion → stoking fear that resources are stolen from Americans. False equivalence → equating a shutdown (Congressional gridlock) with immigrant health policy. ✅ Reality Check: Shutdowns happen because of partisan fights over budgets and power, not because Democrats are giving healthcare to immigrants. Immigrant healthcare costs are tiny in federal spending and don’t cause shutdowns. This is scapegoating, using immigrants as a political shield for failure.

When the American empire finally collapses, historians won’t be stunned by the greed of the elite; They’ll be stunned by the loyalty of the poor. The working class didn’t just vote against their own interests. They worshipped the billionaires robbing them. They slashed their own benefits, gutted their own healthcare, and cheered while the rich wrote off private jets as tax deductions. Not because it helped them. But because they were told it would hurt someone else. And that, right there, is how you rig a democracy without ever breaking a single law.

Dear MAGA, They told you the real danger was the guy sweating on your roof in July or the woman wiping your grandmother’s chin for $10 an hour working double shift. And you bought it. So you clapped like seals, chanting USA USA USA, while they ripped your healthcare, took lunch from your kid, and handed billions to yachts in tax havens. You got conned. They dangled fear like a shiny object, “the border, the migrants, the brown folks taking jobs you never wanted”, while behind your back, they picked your pocket and left your kid holding the bill for generations to come. You lose your Medicaid. Your VA clinics and hospitals shuts down. Your grandma gets pushed to the sidewalk with an oxygen tank. But hey, no migrants working jobs you wouldn't do, huh? What a deal. It's a conman trick. And the mark is you. You traded your future for a wall that didn’t get built and a promise that only delivered to billionaires while bankrupting our nation. This ain’t “America First.” It’s fear first, cruelty second, and you dead last. Let's hope you wake up before it's too late.
