In my opinion, one of the most interesting aspects of Pakistan Navy’s new Hangor-class submarines will be their potential torpedo loadout.
If integrated, the combination of the Chinese YU-6 heavyweight torpedo, reportedly with a range exceeding 45 km, alongside the newer AQA010 next generation torpedo could significantly enhance the undersea strike capability of the Hangor-class, especially considering both are believed to be compatible with standard 533mm torpedo tubes.
