There's always a regret tweet. The one you look back on and know that was the moment I should have aped. Mine was fading Pepe after seeing the CA started with 0x69. 0x6982508145454Ce325dDbE47a25d4ec3d2311933 Three years later, we're here again. $Wojak starts with 8j69. 8J69rbLTzWWgUJziFY8jeu5tDwEPBwUz4pKBMr5rpump 8J = Troll face. The 8 is the Troll eyes. The J is the smirk. Add the 69 and you have the most memetically perfect CA ever written. Destiny.

My thesis hasn't changed... Buy tokens I identify with. When I do, I'm not buying a ticker, I'm buying a belief. A belief that is instilled into my everyday life. I am able to hold longer because the people around me believe too, so the dips don't shake us. When you identify with a ticker your energy flows into creativity instead of getting burned up forcing conviction you don't actually have. Identity tokens naturally become slow cooks because they must weed out the people who are looking for a quick flip. The ones who identify stay and shape the culture while getting the tokens into the right hands. If you look on chain, there are a handful of identity tokens that have been coiling for months/years ready for a massive breakout.

I’m in the belief that patience will win The majority of active participants have been rotating on each other playing games of Russian Roulette. This to me is a solved and crowded zero sum game. IMO it is EV to be on the other side of this behavior. Right now, the other side is in the Goldilocks zone. It’s contrarian but has very high odds to becoming consensus. The strategy is simple. Find the best concepts with longevity that have a diehard community creating culture everyday. Many of these are sitting at lows long consolidations just waiting to explode. These will not hit 10-100x today, but over time, they will massively outperform daily trading.

There are cycle winners available on chain. Ones where you can 20-100x your investment in less than 24 months. Identify them and never work again.

When did it become the norm for people to own multiple %'s of a token? Doing this puts our memes at massive risk. One single person can f*ck over thousands. Memes are built by the community and should be acquired over time at different levels to create lasting foundations that organically create decentralization. Normalizing the idea of single entity owning a large portion of supply is a death trap for memes.

I agree that the ability to speculate on trends, culture, and narratives is going to be a massive part of markets going forward whether that’s memecoins or prediction markets but here’s where I get stuck in theory it sounds cool to take a broad idea and go long or short on it take unemployment for example you can see where things are heading -more layoffs from AI -more people opting out of traditional work -more people looking for alternative paths to make money so the β€œclean” trade is just going long unemployment but where do you even express that in a way that feels real prediction markets let you click yes on a question like β€œwill unemployment rise” and sure maybe you make money if you’re right but it feels like there’s no culture or identity, no alignment with the people actually living it memecoins are different, it’s something that people can actually rally around if I’m long unemployment I don’t just want exposure to a number going up I want to be positioned alongside people who see it happening, who are adapting to it in real time, who are turning it into something instead of just betting on it that’s what makes memecoins irreplaceable imo, they are something people actually want to hold and be part of there are a lot of problems in the space right now but I can’t shake the feeling that a few of these coins will fully capture something real and when they do they won’t just trend they’ll run hard I’ve placed my bet

Memes don't die; they hibernate. I was here in 2022 when things went to shit. The old heads said Memes are dead and the meta is over. Four years later, I'm hearing the exact same thing. Here's what they've never understood: Memes aren't a meta. They're a mechanism. They work because they compress culture into a tradeable asset. It's the only corner of crypto where a nobody with $500 and good taste can still outperform a fund. As we've learned, attention is the only scarce resource that actually matters on-chain β€” and memes are the most efficient attention delivery system ever invented. The old heads look at price charts and see a dead category. What they're missing is that every cycle, memes come back different. There will be new tickers, new lore, new communities creating shared belief and turning it into shared liquidity. We're in the quiet part right now where the tourists left and the old heads are feeling validated. However, that's historically been the best time to be paying attention. Memes will capture a bid again. And when it happens the same people calling them dead will be asking how they missed it. But the smart ones are already positioning in the next cycle winners.
